Torch Lake Federal Credit Union Debit Card Contest

We are adding images to our instant issue debit cards that will begin at the completion of our merger with Peninsula Federal Credit Union, and we'd love to feature your photos of the beautiful Keweenaw Peninsula!

From beautiful, snowy Houghton County scenes to gorgeous Keweenaw County sunsets, we're looking for those picture-perfect landscape scenes that best capture the beauty of the land, skies, and seasons in this beautiful area.

About the Contest

As Torch Lake Federal Credit Union joins Peninsula Federal Credit Union, we are looking for more photo options to expand our instant issue debit card images. The contest will have ten total winners.

If your photo is selected as one of the top two winners, you'll receive: 

• You're photo featured as an image option for our instant-issue debit cards
• $300.00 prize money

If your photo is selected in places third through tenth, you'll receive:

• A $30.00 local restaurant gift card
• You're photo showcased in the Laurium branch of Peninsula Federal Credit Union (post-merger)  

Submissions will be posted for public voting on our Facebook page from June 16-30, and winners will be selected based on likes and loves.

The deadline to submit is 11:59 p.m. EDT on June 12, 2025.

What We're Looking For

• Photos taken in Houghton or Keweenaw Counties

• Landscape (horizontal) orientation only

• Full color (no black and white)

• No people or pets

• Wildlife and seasonal photos are encouraged (Ex: Northern Lights, sunrises, sunsets, fall colors, waterfalls, waves, seasons)

• Mobile phone photos are accepted if they meet the resolution requirements

• AI-generated or AI-edited images will not be accepted

• Photos must be submitted in a TIF format, 300dip, sRBG color mode
